Quando vedo una cosa che mi spaventa di solito si tratta di arte. Questa foto è una di quelle cose che definirei "inguardabili". Inguardabile sì, ma con il suo stile.

René & Radka Come and play with us
René e Radka, provengono rispettivamente da Colonia in Germania e da Praga nella Repubblica Ceca, dal 2001 vivono e lavorano insieme a Parigi.
Dopo i progetti fotografici realizzati con riviste di moda di fama internazionale e le campagne fotografiche pubblicitarie, i due autori hanno esteso il loro lavoro al campo dell’arte con la loro prima personale “Moonage daydream” nel 2006 a Berlino seguita da “Come and play with us” nel 2007 e “Under Water”nel 2009 a Parigi.
I soggetti da loro privilegiati sono la moda e i bambini.

Klein probes beneath the celebrity skin to create images for which manifest content and latent meaning are held in perpetual conflict. And for all the seductions of surface, his is a subcutaneous view that literally digs beneath the surface to portray the muscular and emotional tension underneath - exposing, if you want, the beast within. Tapping into the deeper currents of libidinal energy that flow through the pop persona he worries the stasis of the photograph into a state of convulsive and animated beauty. Here the regalia of the queen is the myth of her own reign. To look at her looking at us is to see something that is both inside and outside; a moving image that inhales contradiction and exhales uncertainty.
